I Have No Impact On Anyone This Time Of Year

How do I find me some more angry shut-ins to read my stuff? I think I need to do an overhaul and rethink of this blog. I think I have run out of anything to say - anything funny or meaningful or informative. Thanks to those of you who have taken the half second to comment when you are able. My unlimited love to you all.

That expression is me holding my breath until I get my way.

I think I need to take a break from it all.

People's brains take a holiday this time of year. Me included. This year especially cause it's been stressful. We're out here with dormant brains. I try to overdo it a bit. It helps.

This time of year is stressful. I try to keep as dormant a brain as possible. I need some help sometimes.

Cal,

I was thinking something similar just now.

I have noticed that the total number of posts I am reading is down lately and my hits are even lower.

Maybe everyone is just really busy this time of year. I know I am.

I overdo it everyday and I think people feel bad that I am shoving too much down their throats everyday so the forget I exist. Nothing special to see here.

I am just gloomy today.

I also can't hold my breath and pout with the same enthusiasm I put into the exercise when I was a younger man.

No one has any impact this time of year. People are busy with Xmas and all the crap that needs to be done for that. They'll be back in the new year, don't worry.

Why do that at all?

First of all...love the new header!! Second of all...I am totally feeling you...I too am having blog inspiration issues. I think it has turned into a bitch session...no one wants to read that.

But I suger coated everything with a rich chocolately sauce to distract them from my bitching. How did they find me out?

You are always going to have something funny or meaningful to say. Don't get discouraged.

You always say the right things. Thank.

I'm lucky if I get one comment. Cal all us shut ins dig your mojo. You've got us if you want some fairweather followers than just post pictures of boobs and guns.

You know what's funny is, I was just noticing how much great stuff you were posting today and over the last few days. I went looking for a post I'd commented on yesterday and had to go back two pages to find it. And who am I? Just a random guy in New York City, sitting at my desk at 2 in the morning avoiding working on something and watching some old Columbo episodes. We've never met but I got all caught up in the Admiral's disappearance (and told my friends about it); you paid me back with your kind words when my own cat died in September. So, you know, all of this serves a profound human purpose and it would be really foolish to ignore that or take it for granted or not feel good about it.

Thanks Nick. Needed to hear that.

It's great to hear that I helped you pass some of the time. Thanks Brother. That's all I set out to do and remains my mission statement.

Breathe, Cal, Breathe! See Cal Breathe! We love you Cal - I read your blog every day, but don't always have time/access to comment. I feel like you and the Admiral are part of my extended family, and would send you a sappy Christmas card if I knew where to send it...give the Admiral a head rub for me...

That was sweet Crazy. My thanks and the Admiral turned and made a face. That's a rousing endorsement if I ever saw one from him.

You might consider changing your blog layout. You'd be surprised what a new look can do for the imagination!
