Lock-Up Trailer

Tell me you don't want to see this movie. The small bits they show about the interrogation of Guy Pearce's character look funny and fresh. I have never seen this familar movie situation filmed quite so well. I love that I knew he would keep being a smartass despite how many times he is hit.

Wow. This is the most inventive trailer I've seen in a long time. Its been so long since I've seen Guy Pearce in the lead that I almost didn't recognize him.

The interrogation scene is well paced and a clever way of introducing us to the actors and title. A lesser trailer would have just faded out then faded in again after each punch, but keeping the camera on the action just feeds our interest and rewards our investment by building momentum rather than just cutting away and treating us like brain dead idiots with two second attention spans.

The sci-fi action bits feel a bit generic, but it makes me all the more curious how they mesh with the interrogation plot.

I can't remember the last time I heard an F-Bomb in trailer. Given the subtitles, I suspect we won't me seeing this trailer stateside. Bummer.

Thanks for agreeing with me and seeing the same things I did Eric. I thought I was going crazy by the forth time I watched the trailer.
